She sees it as her duty to solve them as she calls herself Guyana’s daily detective. Joshua and Glenda Cartwright have created a series of imaginative children's stories, initially for their daughter, based on her Guyanese grandmother, Juliet, known as JJ. The book was also written for the children of Guyana to help them appreciate and retain their heritage through the stories, traditional proverbs and carefully crafted pictures. Glenda will give a short talk about Guyana and introduce a few simple words and phrases before reading some stories in Guyanese English (Creole), followed by a craft activity based on the stories.
