‘Tigeropolis: The Grand Opening’ by Richard Dikstra

  • Where: Gayton Library, 5 St. John's Road, Harrow, HA1 2EE
  • When: Wednesday 16th August 2017, 11:00 am
  • Admission: Free - advance booking required.

Tigeropolis is the thrilling story of a family of vegetarian tigers living in the foothills of the Himalayas. They have battled against a variety of challenges to save their forest home from the bulldozers and now have to use all their ingenuity to make Tigeropolis the top tourist destination in India. Needless to say, things are a bit more complicated than they first seem and an old foe has some scores to settle. The books are based on the author’s experiences in India and his long term involvement with wildlife conservation. Join Richard for an interactive story time whilst learning about tigers and why they need protecting.
For ages 7-12 years.
