Hanwell Community Centre Work Club

  • Where: Hanwell Community Centre, Westcott Crescent, Hanwell, W7 1PD
  • When: Tuesday 18th July 2017, 9:30 am
  • Admission: FREE

Unemployed residents can find help getting back into work thanks to three work clubs. The work clubs are fully equipped with IT. Practical advice and support is provided to help unemployed residents in their return to work including:
   • help with searching for a job
   • internet access
   • CV building
   • interview techniques
   • help in completing application forms
   • access to vocational training and other education opportunities
Anyone living in the borough is welcome to drop in to any club.
No appointment is necessary.

  • Where: Northolt Library
  • When: Tuesday 18th July 2017, 10:00 am
  • Admission: FREE

Pop in to these advice sessions with the West London Waste Authority to find out how to make the most of your food, and ideas of how to reduce your wastage of other items.

Want to improve your health? Come and join a Northolt walk! Supervised by NHS staff, these new weekly walks are a great way of discovering the hills, canals and parks of Northolt, becoming healthy and making new friends.

LH Talk; Jane Austen 200

  • Where: Ealing Central Library
  • When: Tuesday 18th July 2017, 6:15 pm
  • Admission: £3 members, £5 non-members

This July marks the 200th anniversary of the death of Jane Austen, one of England's greatest writers. Dr Oates gives a talk looking at three other women writers who have connections with C19th Ealing; though  they  are  now  forgotten,  they  were  popular  in  their  times.
