Great Fires of Ealing

This year marks the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. To mark this, this talk looks at a number of fires in Ealing, Hanwell, Southall and Acton that occurred in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

The Montpelier Road Murders

In 1954, there was a double murder in a house in Montpelier Road. The killer thought that he was to commit the 'Pefect Murder' but his plot unravelled and the trail led to West Germany'. Talk based on the author's new book on the topic.
